Born in Dublin on the 29/11/1998, I'm Gavin Dowd. From a young age I loved music. I started playing the piano, guitar and acting in many musicals. This passion was sure to become an occupation for me. In 2008 I released a single entitled 'World Peace' on my 'made-up' record label Censored Records. The single sold ten copies (sold to all of my extended family!) and made about 20 euro (some of which I had promised to give to charity, and I still haven't!). In May 2009 I was called to do a disco for a friends sister. This consisted of some bog-standard cd players and cheesy High-School musical songs. Two months after that I did an 18th for my cousin and a New Years Eve later the next year. Then, from spending too much time on the internet and clicking buttons on DJ equipment I discovered internet radio. From the launch of my station on the 25th of December 2010, I knew this is what I wanted to do in the future. In April 2011 I got in contact with RTE Junior and co-hosted a show called 'The Club' with Colm Flynn. I was then told I would be appearing on 'The John Murray Show' on RTE Radio One the next day. Why? because I'm the only 13 year-old in the world with three online radio stations! The last year has been crazy for me as I've secured jobs on internet radio stations worldwide. Things can only get better!
